Cold Sore/Herpes

Cold sores (Herpes Simplex virus), also known as fever blisters, are small, painful blisters that typically form on the lips, around the mouth. The virus is highly contagious and can be transmitted through direct contact with an infected individual’s skin or saliva, even when sores are not present. After the initial infection, the virus remains dormant in the body and can reactivate, leading to recurrent outbreaks.
